Tay Whale

The Journey

This chapter documents the epic journey of The Tay Whale Sculpture sailing up the English Channel and North Sea, travelling on a 50m barge arriving into Dundee and the Silvery River Tay. Taking 4 days at sea, from 14th October to 18th October 2021. The passage was luckily blessed with good weather, aerial footage taken from around the area of the Norfolk coastline with time lapse footage from on the deck of the barge and capturing the moment the sculpture arrives for the first time into the River Tay and the Port of Dundee to be released from its sea fastenings, in preparation of being installed… Stay tuned.
