A short film that documents some of Lee’s initial physical thought process through to the fabrication and installation of Quadrilinear suited on a prominent corner in London’s Marylebone Lane.
Looking back at a succession of historic contextual maps and drawings dating back to the early 17th Century, through the exercise of collaging these maps from various date periods, they were deconstructed by slicing thin linear strips and recomposing them back into a new order, that no longer reads as a clear depiction of the area was the bases for this 15m tall stainless-steel sculpture.
